Inside Eamonn Holmes’ relationship with girlfriend Katie Alexander after she ‘moves out’

In May 2024, the GB News presenter and his ex-wife Ruth Langsford announced they were separating after 14 years of marriage and a total of 27 years together.

Just a few months later, the 66-year-old TV host sparked up a relationship with the 45-year-old mum-of-three, with the pair spotted on a Mediterranean holiday together.

Keeping their relationship out of the spotlight, they have been seen out and about together over the months.

When they first went public with their relationship, reports emerged that the pair had been in touch over social media as far back as 12 years prior, with sources going as far as to say they had ‘flirty back and forth’.

An insider told The Sun at the time: ‘He and Katie had a real connection, and it blossomed into something more.’

Before starting a relationship with Eamonn, Katie – who is understood to have previously worked as a shop assistant and a therapist – has been in two long-term relationships.

The first she started with coach driver Michael Devine when she was 19 and he was 59. They share a now 24-year-old together.

Speaking to the Daily Mail in 2024 about their split-up, Michael said: ‘We’ve been split up for a lot of years now. I do see Katie now and again, but she is down in London.

‘There are no hard feelings whatsoever towards Katie, she’s a nice woman, she really is. I wish her well. Absolutely brilliant, is Katie.’

She later married bar owner George Alexandar, with whom she shares two daughters, with the couple eventually separating in 2022, sharing he had ‘his heart broken when [the] marriage ended’.

He also confirmed that Eamonn and Katie had been social media buddies for several years, saying: ‘She was not swooning over him like she was George Clooney, but she liked being on social media, and one day said she’d had a reply from him.

‘She’d commented on one of his posts, and Eamonn got in touch. I must admit I laughed it off,’ according to OK! Magazine.

Since getting together with Eamonn, it is understood Katie was splitting her time between her West Yorkshire home and Eamonn’s £1.3million Surrey home until recently.

In April, the former This Morning presenter suffered a stroke and has been hospitalised ever since as he privately recovers.

Although Katie has reportedly moved out of their home, insiders claim that she has not broken up with the millionaire TV personality.

The source told The Sun on Sunday: ‘Katie is still very much together with Eamonn and in love, but she’s moved out of the flat.

‘It’s an incredibly sad situation — she loved it there, and the time they spent together making it home.
