The FIFA international break is over. Attention will switch to the Betway Premiership with eight fixtures scheduled across three days.

Image: Kaizer Chiefs media The only major fixture on the local football calendar this week is the MTN8 final, with Orlando Pirates taking on Mamelodi Sundowns at Moses Mabhida Stadium on Saturday, 10 October. Kick-off is scheduled for 18:00.
The Betway Premiership will then return next week, with eight fixtures scheduled across Tuesday, 13 October, Saturday, 17 October, and Sunday, 18 October.

The league action resumes on Tuesday, 13 October, with four matches scheduled for 19:30.
Kaizer Chiefs will host Stellenbosch FC, while Mamelodi Sundowns travel to face Richards Bay. Orlando Pirates will take on TS Galaxy, with Durban City hosting AmaZulu.
The Betway Premiership continues on Saturday, 17 October, with three matches on the schedule.
Chippa United face Kruger United, while Golden Arrows host Milford FC, with both matches kicking off at 15:30. Sekhukhune United then take on Marumo Gallants at 18:00.
The final match of the eight-fixture programme takes place on Sunday, 18 October, when Siwelele FC host Polokwane City at 15:30.
For now, however, all eyes will be on Orlando Pirates vs Mamelodi Sundowns in the MTN8 final this Saturday before the Betway Premiership returns with a full programme next week.
Mamelodi Sundowns currently sit at the top of the table with 20 points from eight matches. Orlando Pirates are just one point behind in second place with 19 points, while AmaZulu FC occupy third with 16 points.
Kaizer Chiefs complete the top four with 13 points, while Milford FC, the newly promoted side, have made a strong start with 12 points in fifth. Sekhukhune United follow closely with 11 points, with Stellenbosch FC, Golden Arrows and Chippa United also competing in a tightly packed mid-table.
At the bottom, Kruger United have four points, while Richards Bay and Siwelele are both on three points. Marumo Gallants currently occupy the automatic relegation position with just two points, leaving them under early pressure to turn their season around.
