CM Bhagwant Mann Launches History of Punjab Book to Promote State’s Heritage

Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann participated in a special programme organised by the Punjab Arts Council in Chandigarh, where he dedicated the book History of Punjab to the public. He described the publication as a significant initiative to preserve and promote the state's rich historical and cultural legacy for future generations.

Addressing the gathering, the Chief Minister said the book would help young people understand Punjab's glorious history, cultural heritage, and the sacrifices made by generations in shaping the state's identity. He stressed the importance of documenting and preserving historical knowledge to strengthen awareness of Punjab's legacy among the youth.

Mann congratulated the authors and the Punjab Arts Council for their efforts in bringing out the publication. He called upon citizens to collectively work towards preserving and promoting Punjab's history, traditions, and cultural heritage, describing it as a shared responsibility for ensuring that future generations remain connected to the state's proud past.
