Isingiro District has emerged as Uganda’s best-performing local government in service delivery, scoring 98.37 percent in the 2025 Local Government Management of Service Delivery Performance Assessment.
The district was followed by Kiruhura with 97.10 percent and Nansana Municipal Council with 94.50 percent, according to the National Synthesis Report released by the Office of the Prime Minister (OPM).
Hospitals and health centres were assessed on the volume of services delivered and the readiness of facilities in terms of staffing, equipment, medicines, and infrastructure
