Former Defence Cabinet Secretary Eugene Wamalwa is mourning the death of his brother and childhood friend, Ngash.

Wamalwa shared the heartbreaking news on social media on Monday morning, expressing his pain following the passing of his longtime friend and relative.

In an emotional message, Wamalwa said he had received the sad news of Ngash’s death and paid tribute to him while describing the deceased as both his brother and childhood friend.

“I have received heartbreaking news of the passing on of my brother and childhood friend Ngash this morning. RIP bro,” Wamalwa said.

The message has attracted messages of sympathy from friends, relatives and members of the public who have joined Wamalwa in mourning the loss.

Wamalwa’s description of Ngash as his brother and childhood friend highlights the close relationship the two shared over the years. The loss is likely to be particularly painful given the memories they created together from childhood.

The former Cabinet Secretary did not provide details about the circumstances surrounding Ngash’s death in his message. He instead focused on paying tribute to his departed loved one as he shared the sad news with his followers.

The announcement has since sparked an outpouring of condolences, with many people sending messages of comfort to Wamalwa and the wider family during this difficult period.

The death of a loved one often leaves families and friends with painful memories, but the support of those around them can provide comfort as they begin the grieving process.

Wamalwa is now expected to join other family members and friends in mourning Ngash and celebrating the memories they shared during his lifetime.

May Ngash rest in peace, and may Eugene Wamalwa, his family and friends find strength during this difficult time.
