435 illegal Afghans arrested in 15 Balochistan operations
The security forces personnel have arrested 435 illegal Afghan nationals during 15 operations carried out in September 2026 in western Balochistan, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Monday.
These operations were conducted in Turbat, Dasht, Panjgur, Dalbandin, and Mashakeel areas of Balochistan.
All these illegal Afghan nationals were repatriated to Afghanistan after the completion of the necessary process.
The Afghan nationals prefer to live in Pakistan due to failed economic policies of the Taliban regime.
The security forces adopted comprehensive policies against illegal Afghan nationals living in Pakistan.
Earlier, Lahore police have decided to accelerate the repatriation of Afghan nationals living in the city without legal status.
Police said 2,129 undocumented Afghan nationals have been arrested this year. Of them, 2,093 were deported under government procedures, while 31 were sent to jail and five were shifted to holding centres.
CCPO Lahore Bilal Siddique Kamyana directed divisional police superintendents to personally monitor the repatriation process.
He said undocumented Afghan nationals were being sent back in accordance with government policy.
