211 people killed in heavy vehicle sccidents in Karachi this year

A total of 211 people have lost their lives in accidents involving heavy vehicles this year in Karachi alone, 24NewsHD TV reported on Monday. 

According to figures released by Rescue 1122 authorities, the data showed that 14 people were killed in accidents involving dumpers, while trailer-related crashes claimed 96 lives.

Water tankers were involved in accidents that resulted in 51 deaths, while 20 people were killed in incidents involving Mazda trucks.

According to the Rescue figures, accidents involving buses claimed another 30 lives during the year in the provincial capital city.
