When El-Rufai Said He Was Coming From Egypt I Told Kwankwaso To Beg Him Not To Come Back” — Galadima

Engineer Buba Galadima, a prominent leader within the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC), has come forward to share a warning he once gave to Mallam Nasir El-Rufai, the former Governor of Kaduna State.According to Galadima, he informed El-Rufai that he had two options: either he would have to leave the country and go into exile or face the consequences of his actions and be imprisoned.

During an interview on Naija Unfiltered, a show on Symfoni TV, Galadima explained that he had reached out to Senator Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso and asked him to plead with El-Rufai not to return from Egypt.

Galadima emphasized that the All Progressives Congress (APC) was so desperate to maintain its hold on power that it was willing to take extreme measures.

He further asserted that El-Rufai was now being held accountable for the harm he caused to others.

Galadima made it clear that he was not calling on President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to release El-Rufai, but rather that justice should be carried out according to the law.He pointed out that others who had committed similar actions had already been granted bail.

Galadima went on to say, “I am not the best friend of El-Rufai.

In fact, I advised him to be careful with how he behaves, that he should either go into exile or face the consequences.I made this statement on record on BBC and on Arise or Channels TV.When he announced he was coming back from Egypt, I met with Kwankwaso and told him to beg him not to return. These people did not have his best interests at heart.Kwankwaso called him and he postponed the date he had set, but then suddenly decided to come back on another day.”
