Van Vicker Explains Why He Stopped Working With LilWin

Ghanaian actor Van Vicker has explained the circumstances that led to his decision to stop working with fellow actor Kwadwo Nkansah LilWin.

According to Van Vicker, the disagreement centred on the terms of a proposed movie project. He explained that LilWin wanted him to commit about 20 days to the production, but the payment being offered for the lengthy engagement was not satisfactory to him.

Van Vicker further alleged that LilWin did not want the financial arrangement to be reflected on his accounts, a situation he said contributed to his decision to decline the project and ultimately stop working with the Kumawood actor.

The actor’s comments have brought renewed attention to a long-running issue between the two entertainers. LilWin has previously complained publicly about Van Vicker, accusing him of failing to honour invitations to feature in his movie productions.

The two actors have both enjoyed significant careers in Ghana’s film industry, although their professional relationship appears to have deteriorated over time.

LilWin has also previously spoken about his preference for working with Nigerian actors and actresses. He has cited his experiences with some Ghanaian actors as one of the factors influencing that preference.

Van Vicker’s latest explanation now provides his side of the story, particularly regarding why he chose not to accept LilWin’s invitation to participate in the movie.
