Ruto’s PA Farouk Fires Salvos At Uhuru Hrs After He Endorsed Opposition Unity Against Ruto in 2027

President William Ruto’s Personal Assistant, Farouk Kibet, has launched a blistering verbal attack on former President Uhuru Kenyatta following his latest calls for opposition unity.

Speaking during a Sunday church service and fund drive at St. Peter’s Mungore ACK Church in Bungoma County alongside National Assembly Speaker Moses Wetang’ula and other Kenya Kwanza leaders, Kibet has sharply criticized the retired head of state for meddling in active political affairs.

Kibet’s stinging rebuke has come just hours after Kenyatta used his address at the funeral of Martha Karua’s father in Kirinyaga to lecture voters and push for a united front to defeat Ruto in 2027.

Addressing the congregation in Western Kenya, Kibet has told the former president to step back, respect Kenyans, and enjoy his retirement in peace rather than fueling political division across the country.

He has argued that the current administration deserves room to deliver on its national mandate without constant interference from past leadership.

Rebuffing Kenyatta’s critical remarks regarding the country’s current governance, Kibet has asserted that the ruling coalition remains focused on development despite political attacks from opposition sympathizers.

He has reminded the retired president that the electorate made a firm democratic decision in 2022, urging him to accept the reality of Ruto’s presidency.

Joined by key regional allies in Bungoma, the influential aide has signaled that Kenya Kwanza leaders have resolved to defend their administration against external political disruption.

This sharp exchange has further heightened political tensions as both government and opposition factions intensify their strategies ahead of 2027.

Kibet’s swift counter-attack has demonstrated that the ruling camp has remained vigilant, ready to confront any opposition momentum endorsed by the former head of state.
