Russia puts 5 hospitals on lockdown as ‘black death’ plague outbreak sparks panic

Several hospitals have been shut down and placed under quarantine as the so-called ‘black death plague’ begins to take hold across Russia.A total of five hospitals have been closed for quarantine purposes in Siberia, following a suspected plague outbreak. The medical facilities have reportedly been shut for a minimum three-week quarantine period after a laboratory worker lost her life to an “unspecified form of plague”.
