NPP national election: Provisional results so far

Provisional results from the New Patriotic Party’s (NPP) national executive elections are emerging from the Baba Yara Sports Stadium in Kumasi, with some key positions witnessing closely contested races.

Over 7,000 delegates voted to elect executives to various positions, including National Chairman, First and Second Vice Chairpersons, Secretary, Treasurer, Organiser, Women’s Organiser, Youth Organiser, Communications Officer and Nasara Organiser.

The emerging results are expected to determine the new leadership teams that will oversee the party’s regional affairs and coordinate its grassroots activities.

The elections form part of the NPP’s broader internal reorganisation following its performance in the 2024 general elections, as the party seeks to rebuild its structures and prepare for the 2028 polls.

Final results are expected to be announced after the completion of sorting, counting and collation from the various centres.
