“My girlfriend…” – Lady shares brother’s shocking response after siblings contributed ₦6m each for his UK relocation

A Nigerian lady has recounted how she and her sisters contributed ₦6 million each to help their only brother relocate to the United Kingdom (UK), only for him to prioritise bringing his girlfriend over.

In a post shared on X (formerly Twitter) by @Ebun, she revealed that the siblings pooled their money to support their brother’s move abroad, hoping he would eventually assist them after becoming settled.

However, she claimed that since relocating, her brother had never sent any of his sisters money or gifts.

She recalled how their eldest sister confronted him last Christmas, reminding him that he was now settled and should consider helping another sibling relocate to the UK.

According to her, the brother responded that he wanted to bring his girlfriend first because he needed to start his own family.

The lady disclosed that her eldest sister insisted, prompting their brother to ask for her account number.

“He asked for her account number and sent her ₦6 million. Then he texted, ‘I’ll settle the others later,’” she recounted.
