Lagos APC Deputy Gov’ship Candidate Recounts Experience At RCCG Thanksgiving Led By Pastor Adeboye

The Lagos State All Progressives Congress (APC) deputy governorship candidate, Damilola Sonayon, has recounted her experience at the Thanksgiving and National Prayer Service organised by the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) to mark Nigeria’s Independence Day.

Sonayon shared her experience in a post on her X handle on Sunday after attending the service held at the RCCG Headquarters in Ebute Metta, Lagos.

She said it was a pleasure to join other worshippers at the thanksgiving service, which was led by the General Overseer of the RCCG, Pastor Enoch Adeboye.

The event was also attended by Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu; his wife, Ibijoke Sanwo-Olu; and the state’s Deputy Governor and APC governorship candidate, Dr Kadri Obafemi Hamzat.

According to Sonayon, the service provided an opportunity for worshippers to thank God for His grace and mercies upon Nigeria while praying for peace, unity and progress.

She added that the occasion offered an opportunity to reflect on the country’s progress and the values that continue to unite Nigerians as a nation.
