Three other Pakistani crew members, Imran Ali, Yaseen Muhammad and Syed Yousuf Hussain, remain aboard the vessel in Somalia along with the captain.

Arrangements are being made to bring them back to Pakistan safely as well.

The 17-member crew of MT Honour 25, including 10 Pakistanis, was abducted by Somali pirates on April 21 for ransom.

The crew remained in captivity for nearly five months before Somali security forces launched an operation to recover the vessel on September 29, 2026.
