Former Mukono TC Mayor Charles Ssemanda Dies

Residents of Mukono have been thrown into mourning following the death of former Mukono Town Council mayor Charles Ssemanda.

News of Ssemanda’s death was announced by former Mukono Resident District Commissioner (RDC) Lillian Nakaweesi, who is one of the leaders in the National Resistance Movement (NRM) in Mukono District.

The circumstances surrounding Ssemanda’s death, including the cause of death and where he died, had not been established by the time of publication.

Ssemanda is a resident of Nabuti Cell, near Seeta Kindergarten in Mukono.

Details of the burial arrangements are expected to be communicated after consultations between the family and local leaders.

Ssemanda’s death marks the loss of a former local government leader who served as mayor of the former Mukono Town Council.
