A young woman with hopes of building a successful future has reportedly lost her life in a fatal accident on the Kumasi-Bibiani highway.

The victim, Afful Beatrice, was from Kwasikrom in the Sefwi Akontombra District of Ghana’s Western North Region. She had reportedly finished Senior High School not long ago and had begun making a living by trading in dresses.

Reports obtained by Dunkwa TV indicate that Beatrice had travelled to Kumasi to buy dresses that she intended to sell as part of her business activities after leaving school.

The unfortunate incident happened on her way back from Kumasi. According to reports, she requested that the driver stop the vehicle because she needed to relieve herself.

She reportedly stepped out of the vehicle but was struck by an approaching car coming from the opposite direction.

The force of the crash reportedly caused fatal injuries, abruptly ending the life of the young entrepreneur and cutting short the aspirations she had been working towards.

News of her death has reportedly brought grief to her relatives, friends and residents of her community, many of whom are mourning her as a hardworking young woman with hopes of achieving financial independence through business.

The incident has once again drawn attention to the dangers associated with Ghana’s busy highways and the importance of exercising caution to protect both motorists and pedestrians.
