Petrol price climbs to Rs 392.76 per litre from October 3

The federal government has announced another increase in petrol and high-speed diesel prices, with the revised rates coming into effect from October 3, 2026.

Under the latest adjustment, petrol has become Rs2.10 per litre more expensive, taking its new price to Rs392.76 per litre.

The price of high-speed diesel has also been increased, rising by 30 paisa per litre to Rs399.64.

According to a Petroleum Division notification, the latest revision was based on changes in international fuel prices. Global market rates, Platts prices, premiums and other related costs were considered while determining the new rates.

The revised prices will remain applicable from October 3 under the latest fuel-price review.
