Land dispute claims three lives in Swat

Three people, including one woman, lost their lives during firing between two rivals due to a land dispute in Saidu Sharif, Swat, on Saturday, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

The incident took place in the Mian Baba area of Saidu Sharif. Soon after receiving the report, a police team rushed to the spot and shifted the dead bodies to Saidu Sharif Hospital.

After registering a case, the police started an investigation to apprehend the accused.

Earlier in June 2026, three persons, including the son, nephew and bodyguard of local transporter Afzal Gujar, were killed in a firing incident by unidentified gunmen in the Shakardara area of Matta tehsil in Swat.

According to a spokesperson for the Swat Police, Afzal Gujar also sustained injuries in the firing and was shifted to a hospital immediately after the attack, where he received medical treatment.
