Vishal Dadlani To Join Mumbai Protest Demanding Gyanesh’s Resignation
Vishal Dadlani has announced that he will join the Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) protest in Mumbai on October 2, which is demanding the resignation of Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar.
The music director made the announcement in an Instagram video on Thursday, turning the protest slogan āGo Gyanu Goā into a song and urging people to attend the demonstration.
In the video, Dadlani sings, āZor se bolo Go Gyanu Go, milke bolo, Go Gyanu Go, saath mein bolo, Go Gyanu Go.ā He then addressed Kumar directly, alleging that the CEC had interfered with the countryās democracy and electoral system.
āGyanesh Kumar ji, aapne hamare desh ki democracy ke saath khilwaad kiya hai, hamare election system ke saath khilwaad kiya hai, aapko toh jaana hi hoga,ā Dadlani said.
He confirmed that he would attend the CJP protest at 4 pm at Shivaji Park in Mumbai. āI will be joining the CJP protest tomorrow at 4 pm, Shivaji Park. Saare aaiye, the country needs you,ā he said. Dadlani ended the video by saying, āHasenge, mazza karenge, bade pyaar se Gyanu ko ravaana karenge. Jai Hind.ā
