One Of Them Slapped Me That I Should Pull Off My Dress; They Videoed Me — Victim Narrates

A teenage girl at the centre of a viral video involving a group of underage boys in a hotel in Ughelli, Delta State, has recounted how she was allegedly lured to the hotel, assaulted and recorded without her consent. The girl gave the account in a video shared by Delta State Police Public Relations Officer, SP Bright Edafe, on his official X account on Friday, October 2, 2026.

According to the victim, she went to the hotel after a friend identified as Nicemoney invited her and offered to provide transportation fare. She said she initially told him that she did not have money for transportation, but he assured her that he would pay her fare. “So, my friend, Nicemoney asked me to come and see him for hotel. So I said I don’t have transport fare. He said I should come, that he will pay the transport,” she said.

The victim said that after arriving at the hotel, she was informed that her transport fare would be paid outside. She said the arrangement changed when she entered the hotel room and discovered two additional boys who were not the friend who had invited her. “When I got there, he told me he would come outside and pay the transport, which they did. On getting inside, I saw extra two boys without Nicemoney, making three boys,” she said.

She said the presence of the other boys raised concerns for her, prompting her to call Nicemoney and ask where he was. “I said, what is three boys doing inside the hotel? I called Nicemoney and said, ‘Where are you? Where are you?’ And he said he is coming,” she recounted.

According to the girl, the boys subsequently told her to begin what they believed she had come to the hotel to do. She said she rejected the demand, insisting that she had not gone there for that purpose. “The boys then said I should start what I came there to do and I said I didn’t come to do anything. Then they were arguing,” she said.

She alleged that one of the boys subsequently assaulted her and ordered her to remove her clothes. “Then one of them slapped me that I should pull my dress, that what is wrong with me. Then I pulled off my dress and they sexed me and videoed me,” she said.

She further alleged that she pleaded with the boys to delete the recording but was told that the video would only be deleted after she was sexually assaulted again. “Then I asked them to delete the video, but they said before they delete the video they will have to sex me again. Then I started to beg them and then they sexed with me again,” she said.

She further alleged that the assault occurred repeatedly and that the boys were aware that she was menstruating at the time. “They sexed with me eight times and I am begging them. They know I was on period before they sexed with me and they recorded that video after they sexed with me,” she said.
