“I Don’t Know What They’ll Do With It After I’m Gone” – Spyro On Leaving Money For His Children
Nigerian singer Spyro has sparked debate after revealing that he does not support leaving money behind for his children after his death.
The singer shared his view while speaking about parenting, wealth and the kind of legacy parents should leave for their children.
According to Spyro, he would rather prepare his children to become independent than leave behind a large amount of money that he cannot control how they will use.
“I don’t support leaving money down for children because after I’m gone, I don’t know what they’ll do with it.”
His comment has generated mixed reactions online, with some Nigerians agreeing that children should be taught how to create wealth, while others argued that parents can both train their children and still leave something behind for them.
