“I Chose My White Future Husband”: Gulu Socialite Ella Reveals Why She Aborted 6-Week Pregnancy Of Acholi Lover
Former Gulu city socialite Ella has claimed that she terminated a six-week pregnancy she says she conceived with her Acholi boyfriend after learning that a white man she had been communicating with online was planning to travel to Uganda.
Ella said the decision was influenced by her plans for a future relationship with the foreign man, whom she described as her prospective husband.
According to Ella, she immediately contacted her doctor and booked an appointment after the man informed her that he was coming to Uganda.
She said she did not want the pregnancy to interfere with what she viewed as a potentially serious relationship and future marriage. Ella reportedly described the pregnancy as a difficult situation because she believed her online relationship could eventually lead to marriage and a different future for her.
She insisted that she was unwilling to “risk” those plans because of a pregnancy she said resulted from her relationship with her Acholi boyfriend.
In explaining her decision, Ella said there was a significant difference between the future she expected with the foreign man and what she believed her local boyfriend could offer.
She reportedly referred to her boyfriend as a poor man “without a future,” saying she could not allow the pregnancy to jeopardise her plans.
