Most regions to remain dry, with hot conditions expected in plains

Most parts of Pakistan are expected to remain dry, while hot weather is forecast in the plains.

According to the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD), Islamabad and adjoining areas are likely to remain dry and hot during the day. Most districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa are also expected to remain dry, with hot conditions in the plains. Most districts of Punjab are forecast to remain dry, with daytime temperatures likely to stay high. Most parts of Sindh are expected to remain dry and hot.

Most districts of Balochistan are also likely to remain dry and hot during the day. In Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan, the weather is expected to remain dry, with partly cloudy skies.

During the past 24 hours, most parts of the country remained dry, while the plains experienced hot weather. Khuzdar received weather, Punjab weather, Sindh weather, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa weather, Balochistan weather, Kashmir weather, Gilgit-Baltistan weather, Meteorological Department, temperature, 1mm of rain during the period.

Dadu and Shaheed Benazirabad recorded the highest temperature of 41°C today, while temperatures reached 40°C in Mithi and Nokundi.

Islamabad recorded a minimum temperature of 20°C and a maximum of 35°C. Lahore and Peshawar recorded 36°C, while Faisalabad reached 37°C.

Karachi recorded a maximum temperature of 35°C, while Multan reached 36°C. Quetta recorded a minimum of 16°C and a maximum of 33°C.

Murree recorded a minimum temperature of 11°C and a maximum of 25°C.
