24 Years After Divorcing Connie Ferguson, See Photos Of Neo Matsunyane

South African actor, director and television personality Neo Matsunyane has remained active in the entertainment industry years after his marriage to actress Connie Ferguson came to an end.

Born on 17 January 1967 in Johannesburg, Matsunyane has built a career spanning acting, directing, television presenting and voice work. He is known for appearances and work on productions including *Kelebone*, *7de Laan* and *Mzansi*.

Matsunyane and Connie Ferguson were previously married and share a daughter, Lesedi Matsunyane-Ferguson. Public biographical records place their marriage in the 1990s before the couple divorced.

Despite the end of their marriage, their daughter has continued the family’s connection to the entertainment industry. Lesedi is an actress who has appeared in several productions and continues to work in the South African film and television space. In 2026, she spoke about her latest film project, *Destroying Desmond*, in an interview with *Sowetan*.

Neo has also established himself behind the scenes as a director. His television credits include work on *7de Laan*, while his wider career has included acting, presenting and voice artistry. His professional journey has therefore extended well beyond his association with Connie Ferguson.

Although his former marriage to Ferguson remains part of his public biography, Matsunyane’s career stands on its own. Over the years, he has continued to contribute to South Africa’s entertainment industry through different roles both in front of and behind the camera.

Today, interest in Matsunyane’s life continues partly because of his connection to one of South Africa’s best-known entertainment families. However, his decades-long career and contribution to television and film remain an important part of his story.
