Amrabad Reopens For Wildlife Tourism
HYDERABAD: The Amrabad Tiger Reserve in Telangana on Thursday reopened for daily jungle safaris and its other activities for visitors. The tiger reserve was closed for tourists and visitors for three months during the monsoon season.
The Nagarkurnool district forest officer Revanth Chandra said the forest department operates 14 safari vehicles for taking tourists into the tiger reserve and those wishing to visit can book their stay at the Mannanur Jungle Resort, and safaris, by visiting https://deccanwoodsandtrails.com/munnanur-jungle-resort-on-the-tigers-trail/
As per the last official estimate as part of the 2026 All India Tiger Estimation, the Amrabad Tiger Reserve is home to at least 42 tigers.
