Ahmedabad Western Railway freight revenue rises 7% in Sept

Ahmedabad: The Ahmedabad division of Western Railway earned Rs 636.2 crore from freight operations in Sept, registering a nearly 7% increase over Rs 595.2 crore earned last Sept. The growth came amid higher loading, a sharp rise in long-haul train operations and efforts to tap new freight business.
