Kenya dominates Sunshine Development Tour contingent at Rwanda Open

Uganda has the second-largest representation with nine players, led by Ronald Rugumayo, who heads to Kigali just days after winning his maiden Sunshine Development Tour title at the Pearl of Africa Golf Series.

The Ugandan contingent also features Kasango Grace, Ronald Otile, Phillip Kasozi, Hussein Bagalana, Abraham Ainamani, David Kamulindwa, Rodell Gaita and Willy Deus Kitata.

Rwanda will be represented by Celestine Nsanzuwera and Aloys Nsabimana, while Malawi’s Paul Chidale, Nigeria’s Godwin Okoko and Tanzania’s Nuru Mollel complete the 25-player Development Tour contingent.

The Rwanda Open marks another step in the development of the Sunshine Development Tour’s East Africa Swing, which is designed to provide golfers with regular competitive opportunities and a pathway towards the Sunshine Tour and other major professional circuits.
