From September 11 to 21, the Efua Sutherland Children’s Park hosts the 14th edition of the Ghana Garden and Flower Show, featuring horticulture, decor, workshops, and nature-inspired creations.

The Ghana Garden and Flower Show opens this Friday, September 11, in Accra, featuring eleven days dedicated to plants, flowers, landscaping, and the use of greenery in homes and cities. The 14th edition runs until September 21 at the Efua Sutherland Children’s Park.

Under the theme “Green Means Business, Beauty and More,” the 2026 edition brings together horticulturists, florists, landscapers, entrepreneurs, and exhibitors focused on ornamental plants, gardening, and green spaces. The official site announces participants from Ghana and other countries, showcasing products and services related to floriculture, horticulture, and green living.

The program extends beyond the exhibition stands. According to the Ghana News Agency, masterclasses and demonstrations will cover gardening, horticulture, and landscaping. The Green to Riches Conference will focus on economic opportunities in the sector, while a roundtable will gather professionals to discuss the horticultural and floricultural value chain.

For home and decor enthusiasts, the event primarily offers a chance to see how plants can enhance a balcony, terrace, or interior space. Pots, floral arrangements, edible plants, and ornamental varieties are among the highlights presented by the exhibitors.

Creativity also plays a significant role in the program. Organizers plan to feature a Fashion in Bloom Show, designed to explore the dialogue between nature, fashion, and culture, along with musical and theatrical evenings.

Families will find a dedicated space with the Little Green Fingers program and activities for children. A food court will complement the experience, while demonstrations and workshops will provide practical tips for maintaining or designing a green space.

The 14th edition of the Ghana Garden and Flower Show takes place from September 11 to 21, 2026, at the Efua Sutherland Children’s Park in Accra. According to the official site, registration and participation information is available online.
