The Legal Green Association at the Ghana School of Law will hold its first law students’ conference in Accra on September 11, 2026. The event will take place at Ghana Shippers House in the Ridge area and will bring together students from the LLB, Pre-Bar and Professional Law School programmes, MyJoyOnline reports.
Conference theme
The conference will be held under the theme “Bridging Justice and Governance: The Role of Lawyers in Political Leadership.” Participants will discuss legal practice, political leadership, the legislative process, legal ethics and youth participation in governance.
Legal Green Association leader Festus Meitey said holding the event became necessary following recent reforms in legal education and professional training in Ghana. According to him, law students need a nationwide platform to discuss issues related to their education, professional development and future role in the justice system.
The programme also includes discussions on legal ethics in political leadership, citizen participation in justice, the role of youth in political leadership and legal practice issues.
