Popular comedian, skit maker and digital content creator, Ernest Tedjeye Oruese, widely known as HK Chairman, has continued to gain recognition in Nigeria’s entertainment industry through his unique brand of comedy and engaging online content. The Delta State-born entertainer, who is also known online as Diamonddc, has built a growing fan base across various social media platforms.
Born on August 15, 1996, in Warri, Delta State, HK Chairman hails from Okpare-Olomu in Ughelli South Local Government Area, while his maternal roots trace back to Okpara Waterside in Ethiope East Local Government Area of the state. He is proudly associated with the Urhobo ethnic nationality and has often spoken about his passion for entertaining people from a young age.
According to reports, HK Chairman officially ventured into comedy and content creation in 2022, beginning his journey in Warri before gradually expanding his audience through digital platforms. His comedy style, characterised by expressive facial reactions, relatable street humour and everyday life experiences, has earned him admiration among young Nigerians.
In pursuit of greater opportunities, the entertainer reportedly relocated to Lagos in 2024, where he intensified his focus on skit production, online comedy and content collaborations. Since then, he has continued to strengthen his presence in the competitive entertainment landscape while attracting a wider audience.
Beyond comedy, HK Chairman has become known for using his platform to promote positive values among young people. He has consistently advised youths to avoid cultism, hard drugs, internet fraud, violence and other social vices, while encouraging them to embrace creativity, discipline, patience and legitimate means of livelihood.
