Nollywood actor Kunle Afod has slammed Nigerians over their love for gossip.

On his Instagram page, he said that Nigerians are fond of ignoring important issues the moment they find something or someone to gossip about.

He explained that they often give more attention to distractions than to matters that truly deserve their focus. Afod said it is time for us to change.

“Nigerians have a way of ignoring important issues the moment they find something or someone to gossip about.

He noted that Nigeria is in trouble, especially for those living in Lagos, and urged them to leave the country for good without looking back.

While weighing in on King Mitchy and VDM’s saga, Mary Njoku had questioned whether our generation truly has the capacity to focus on what’s important in their lives and futures. She pondered whether they had collectively chosen distraction over direction, lamenting over the level of noise and trivialities competing for attention

In others news, Afod dragged Sola Sobowale and Yemi Alade as he called out the Osun State government over the poor state of the roads. Appealing to the government to fix the roads, he noted how kidnappers have made some of the bad roads their abode.

In another post, he questioned how long the Ose Local Government would remain in that state, lamenting the plight of its indigenes. Mentioning the names of some local government leaders, he urged them to hear the cry of their people.
