Education consultant and nationally recognized educator, Chief Iddi-Amin Fredouse, has successfully organized his first-ever Community Guidance Summit for 2026 Junior High School leavers, bringing together students from various schools within the community to receive mentorship, educational guidance, and career inspiration.
Chief Iddi-Amin Fredouse, who was recognized as Ghana’s Third Most Outstanding Teacher in 2023, continues to make a significant impact beyond the classroom through youth mentorship and educational empowerment initiatives aimed at shaping the future of young people.
The summit, which focused on preparing students for life after Junior High School, forms part of his long-standing commitment to student development and community education. Over the years, he has visited several schools within different communities to offer guidance and motivational sessions to students. However, this latest initiative marked a major step forward by creating a larger platform that brought students from different schools together for one common purpose guidance, inspiration, and preparation for the future.
Speaking after the successful event, Chief Iddi expressed gratitude to Allah and described the summit as an important step toward helping students make informed decisions about their lives and careers.
“Today, I successfully organized my very first Community Guidance Summit for the 2026 JHS leavers. After going from school to school over the years to offer guidance to students, I decided to take it a step further this time, and Alhamdulillah, it was a great success,” he stated.
The summit created an opportunity for students to receive practical knowledge about education, career choices, discipline, leadership, and personal development. Participants were encouraged to remain focused on their dreams and avoid negative influences that could affect their future.
One of the special guests at the event was the CEO of Antique Brands GHS, who shared practical entrepreneurial lessons and business experiences with the students. Drawing from his journey as a businessman respected within and beyond the community, he advised the students on the importance of hard work, determination, consistency, and self-belief.
The program also received support from the Honourable Assemblyman for the Ogbojo Electoral Area, Elvis Kwabena Jnr, who took time to speak to the students about leadership, responsibility, and making wise life choices at a young age. His presence added inspiration and encouragement to the summit.
In addition to the mentorship and educational sessions, the summit also introduced a practical support initiative for students awaiting their BECE results. Chief Iddi and his team secured free apprenticeship and internship opportunities for some of the students to help them acquire vocational and life skills while preparing for the next phase of their education and future careers.
The initiative reflects Chief Iddi’s belief that education should go beyond academics and include practical skill development, discipline, and mentorship that can help young people become responsible and productive members of society.
Widely admired for his innovative teaching methods and dedication to student welfare, Chief Iddi-Amin Fredouse has become an inspiration to many students, parents, and educators across Ghana. His contributions to education and youth development continue to receive recognition both within educational circles and the wider community.
The success of the maiden Community Guidance Summit has already sparked conversations about making it an annual event that will continue to empower and guide students within the community and beyond.
Concluding his remarks, Chief Iddi offered a heartfelt prayer of gratitude and purpose:
“Ya Allah, continue to use us as a means of guidance and inspiration to others.”
The summit stands as another remarkable achievement in the growing legacy of a teacher and mentor dedicated to transforming lives through education, guidance, and community empowerment.
