CAN 2027: CAF approves Kenya’s progress

In the midst of preparations for AFCON 2027, Kenya has just received a major boost following the visit from CAF inspectors.

Kenya continues to score points in its bid to host the 2027 Africa Cup of Nations. During an inspection visit, CAF representatives expressed satisfaction with the progress being made in preparations, which are being coordinated jointly with Uganda and Tanzania.

According to several local media outlets, the delegation led by Djibril Diop visited a number of sports facilities and training centers set to host the continental competition.

CAF pleased with Kenya’s progress

Djibril Diop praised the commitment of Kenyan authorities and the coordination surrounding the project. “The commitment we’ve witnessed from Sports Kenya and the Kenyan government is inspiring. There is clear progress, strong coordination, and a determination to deliver top-quality facilities for AFCON 2027,” he stated during the inspection tour.
