Atlantic Lithium Limited has requested a temporary suspension of trading in its shares on the Australian Securities Exchange (ASX), effective February 19, 2026, as it responds to a price query and addresses speculation linked to its Ghana operations.

In a statement, the Africa-focused lithium exploration and development firm indicated that the halt is pending its formal response to the ASX inquiry, as well as clarification of market speculation surrounding the potential ratification of its Ewoyaa Mining Lease and discussions regarding a possible corporate transaction.

Atlantic Lithium stated that it is not aware of any material developments concerning the Ewoyaa Mining Lease beyond its last market update issued on December 22, 2025.

The company expects the suspension on the ASX to remain in place until it makes a further announcement or until trading resumes on Monday, February 23, 2026.

Meanwhile, trading in the company’s ordinary shares will continue as normal on the Ghana Stock Exchange during the period of the ASX halt.

Atlantic Lithium, which is listed on the AIM Market of the London Stock Exchange, the ASX and the GSE, is progressing the Ewoyaa Lithium Project ;widely expected to become Ghana’s first lithium-producing mine.

The company said it will provide additional updates to the market when appropriate.
