Afrobeats Queen Tiwa Savage recently had fans smiling and a little shocked after a heartwarming live conversation with her mother where the topic of her birth came up.
During the chat, Tiwa jokingly asked her mum about the day she was born, and her mother did not hold back as she recalled the stressful experience. According to her, Tiwa’s birth was nothing like that of her other children.
She revealed that she was in labour for four whole days before Tiwa finally arrived. At some point, doctors asked her to move to another room upstairs in the hospital. Looking back, she said the baby could have been delivered right on the floor if she had made that move.
“What you put me through, none of my other children put me through,” she said humorously. “You are atom boy. I stayed in the hospital for four days after giving birth, while you were already at home with your dad.”
The story left Tiwa laughing and fans touched by the rare mother-daughter moment.
Today, Tiwa Savage has grown into one of Africa’s most celebrated music stars. At 46, the beautiful singer continues to turn heads with her flawless dark skin, signature smile, and powerful stage presence.
By every measure, she has built an enviable life, a successful music career, global recognition, and a son she adores. Still, as she often jokes with fans, there’s just one thing left on her wish list: waiting for “someone’s son” to finally find her.
