Everton’s new loan signing, Tyrique George, has confirmed his Ghanaian heritage as he settles into life at Goodison Park, opening the door for a potential future international career with the Black Stars.
The 19-year-old winger, who joined Everton on loan from Chelsea until the end of the season, revealed his family background in a recent video.
George stated that his mother is from Ghana and his father is from Nigeria, though he was born in England and has represented England at every youth level from Under-16 to Under-21.
