Widespread reactions poured in as pastor Kingsley Okonkwo trended online over the tattoo on his arm for his 50th birthday. See below;
@justkency wrote, “First, they don’t abide by the laws in the same bible they preach and quote scriptures from. Leviticus 19:28 Ye shall not make any cuttings in your flesh for the dead, nor print any marks upon you: I am the LORD.”
@jagaletz shared, “Why not? That’s how religion and faith work. His blind followers who saw tattoos as a sin before will no longer see it that way anymore. Some of them might even get tattoos too because he did. To those ones, he writes and rewrites heavenly rules as he wishes.”
@Kryptotajeer remarked, “Christianity in many places is no longer growing by conviction, but shrinking into entertainment. This isn’t progress, it’s a symptom of decline. When leaders mirror the culture instead of guiding it, followers slowly disappear.”
@_LadyVictoria ·said, “Thing about tattoo is that, once you get one, you’ll definitely go get another one and that’s how it goes on. New generation pastors 😭.”
@Ahindehezekiah added, “It represents John 3:16 For God so love the world.”
@minospeed007 spills, “The church is competing with the world. Leviticus 19:28 is clear on God’s stand on tattoos. The pastor needs to go back and read his Bible very well. We are in a dangerous time.”
