The decision was made public through an emotional video Alexer shared on her Instagram story.

In the video, Alexer explained that the move was not easy for her, describing it as a painful choice that came after years of pressure following the end of her marriage.

She said she has been caring for the children since the separation, adding that they have been living with her, attending school from her home, and seeing their father only occasionally.

In response, Harrysong, in a post on his Instagram story on Friday, said his decision to remain silent is aimed at protecting his kids and their mother, because whatever is said online remains forever.

Harrysong said that he had previously made the mistake of speaking from emotion on social media and had learnt the hard way.

The singer noted that he has been a present father and has continued to provide for the children, even while they were in their mother’s care.

He said, “I’ve chosen restraint to protect the mother of my children and, most importantly, our kids because what’s said online lives forever.

“I previously made the mistake of speaking from emotion and learnt the hard way. I never said she couldn’t have access to them.

“Them been in my custody is a decision made for reasons u can’t put out on the internet. I’ve remained active, present father and have continued to provide for our children, even while they were in her care.

“The current narrative online is deeply hurtful and risks damaging the very image and career that supports our children. Is it worth it? I won’t engage in public back-and-forth that could one day harm them. My focus remains their well-being.”
