The letter, issued by the Force Intelligence Department, directed him to report to the FID Annex Office in Lagos through the OCCIOS team for what was described as a routine interview as part of an inquiry.
DeeOne explained that the invitation may be connected to a video he recently posted about President Bola Tinubu during the president’s visit to Turkey.
According to him, he spoke as an ordinary citizen who noticed something he felt was unusual and decided to share his thoughts publicly.

He said he has since received several phone calls and heard different opinions, including claims that his post amounted to cyberbullying and that he should not have mentioned the president or his son.
Despite the reactions, the comedian said he stands by what he posted and believes he acted within his rights as a Nigerian.
He made it clear that he does not plan to apologize if the police invitation is connected to the video.
