Hearts of Oak goalkeeper Benjamin Asare welcomes competition with Solomon Agbasi – Ghana Latest Football News, Live Scores, Results

Benjamin Asare delivered a calm response to the battle for the number one position at Hearts of Oak and showed respect to teammate Solomon Agbasi after the draw with Dreams FC.

He stated that he is fine with competition and ready to do whatever the coaches decide for the team. Hearts of Oak and Dreams FC played out a goalless draw at the University of Ghana Stadium on Friday with both sides failing to convert the chances they created.

Heart of Oak enjoyed better exchanges controlling possession and dictating tempo while Dreams FC grew after the break and finished on the front foot. Benjamin Asare was named man of the match after the game.

“It’s good that I have that competition with Solomon Agbasi. For me anything the coaches decide I will do my job. I thank the coaches, the managers and all the supporters for giving me this platform,” he said.

The result leaves Hearts on 32 points while Dreams move up to eighth place with 24 points now level with Heart of Lions.
