Alex Otti Only Repainting Roads Originally Built By Orji Kalu

Nollywood actress, Doris Ogala, has defended Senator Orji Uzor Kalu after he criticised Abia State Governor Alex Otti for not launching major projects in the state.

Naija News reports that Kalu claimed the current administration had only repainted roads originally built during his tenure as governor.

Ogala took to social media to support Kalu, calling him her boss and saying his comments were accurate.

She said that the roads being shown off by the present government were actually constructed under Kalu’s leadership.

She said, “What my boss, Senator Orji Uzor Kalu, said about Governor Alex Otti is true. Alex Otti is only repainting roads that were originally built by Senator Orji Uzor Kalu.”

Meanwhile, former Abia State governors, Orji Uzor Kalu and Theodore Orji, have held a strategic meeting in Umuahia aimed at seizing power from Governor Alex Otti in the 2027 general election.

Kalu, while speaking during the meeting on Friday, explained that the gathering brought together political actors who governed or held office in Abia State between 2009 and 2023, with the goal of forming a united political bloc.

The Abia North senator proposed expanding the group to include all former political officeholders from the same period, arguing that their collective experience and contributions to the state’s development should not be disregarded.

According to Kalu, the group known as ‘The Team’ played a critical role in shaping the state during their years in power.

He rejected claims that previous administrations were irrelevant, describing governance as a continuous process.
