Who had the best and who had the worst?

Concerts have fast become a major part of end of year parties and while artistes perform to entertain, fans also look forward to be thrilled, have fun and to enter the New Year with good energy.

At the end of 2025, a number of concerts were organized and held in Ghana, both paid-for and the free attendance ones.

Zaama Disco, Rapperholic, ShattaFest, PromiseLand were a few of these concerts.

In this GhanaWeb article, we take a look at how some Ghanaians and music enthusiasts ranked some major concerts that took place.

The list, which has been developed from a poll GhanaWeb held on socials, ranks the concerts from the best to the worst:

1. BhimFest

At the number one spot (the best ranked concert) is Stonebwoy’s Bhim Festival.

It took place at the Accra Sports Stadium with thrilling performances from notable artistes like Jahmiel and Efya.

2. Rapperholic

Following closely is Sarkodie’s second Rapperholic of 2025 which happened at the Grand Arena.

3. Zaama Disco

In number three is fast-rising and global artiste Black Sherif’s Zaama Disco, which happened at the University of Ghana Sports Stadium, where he delivered electrifying performances.

4. Detty Rave

Mr Eazi’s vibrant Detty Rave Concert won the fourth place.

5. Afrofuture

Held over a two-day period, the festival celebrated African music, arts and culture.

From the poll, the Afrofuture came in at number 5.

6. Likor on the Beach by Kidi

This chilled-out beach concert with top artistes made it to the 6th position on the rankings.

7. Revival Concert by Kweku Smoke

This was a sold out show that featured Sarkodie and Jay Bhad.

It made it to the 7th position.

8. Nimo Live by AratheJay

This debut concert from Arathejay had performances from other artistes like Black Sheriff and King Promise.

9.Samini Experience

The concert by Samini was a blend of Highlife and reggae vibes, held at the Laboma Beach.

This one made it to the 9th spot on the rankings.

10. Beyond Kontrol Concert by Medikal

This concert, with a major line up of artistes, was held at the Accra Sports Stadium.

11. Cincity by Cina Soul

This concert was held at the the Polo Beach Club with Mr Drew and Kidi as headline acts.

12. GT Bank concert

This major concert, with a lineup of some big names in music both locally and internationally, made it to the 12th position.

13. Made in Taadi by Kofi Kinaata

This is an annual event in Takoradi.

14. PromiseLand by King Promise

This star-studded concert was by VGMA’s 2025 Artiste of the Year, King Promise, with some of Ghana’s biggest acts in attendance.

According to the poll, this concert by the reigning Artiste of the Year was the worst of the season.
