He also called for sports events to be formally integrated into the \u201cDecember in Ghana\u201d activities, emphasising that competitions like ABF can boost tourism, promote youth engagement, and strengthen Ghana\u2019s position as a regional hub for sports and entertainment during the festive season.<\/p>\n<p>He also underscored the importance of strong partnerships among sports federations, corporate sponsors, and event organisers to sustain such initiatives and expand their impact.<\/p>\n<p>The GBA President concluded by reaffirming GBA\u2019s commitment to supporting all basketball events and working with stakeholders to ensure that sports play a central role in Ghana\u2019s December celebrations.<\/p>\n<p>The 2025 Africa Basketball Festival is sponsored by the Ghana Basketball Association and the Ghana Tourism Authority.
