{"id":456560,"date":"2025-12-28T14:11:20","date_gmt":"2025-12-28T14:11:20","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.ghanamma.com\/2025\/12\/28\/family-mourns-late-nollywood-actress-allwell-ademola\/"},"modified":"2025-12-28T14:11:20","modified_gmt":"2025-12-28T14:11:20","slug":"family-mourns-late-nollywood-actress-allwell-ademola","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.ghanamma.com\/2025\/12\/28\/family-mourns-late-nollywood-actress-allwell-ademola\/","title":{"rendered":"Family mourns late Nollywood actress Allwell Ademola"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><\/p>\n<div style=\"-webkit-user-select: none; -webkit-touch-callout: none; -moz-user-select: none; -ms-user-select: none; user-select: none;\">\n<p id=\"article-123\">The family of Nollywood actress and producer, Allwell Ademola, has mourned her death, clarifying that she was 49 years old at the time of her passing.<\/p>\n<p>In an official statement released and signed by Adeboyega Adebayo on Sunday, on behalf of the Ademola family, it was stated that the late actress passed away on Saturday, December 27, 2025.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWith heavy hearts and total submission to the will of God, we announce the passing of our beloved sister, mother, and aunt, Princess Allwell Ademola, who departed this life on Saturday, the 27th day of December, 2025, at the age of 49,\u201d the statement read.<\/p>\n<p>The family described Ademola as a proud daughter of the Ademola family of Ogun State and a great-granddaughter of the Alake of Egbaland, noting that she was deeply committed to the creative arts.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cFrom childhood until her passing, she distinguished herself as a thespian, actor, singer, and filmmaker, touching many lives through her art, talent, and unwavering dedication to the creative industry,\u201d the family said.<\/p>\n<p>They also expressed gratitude to colleagues, friends, and well-wishers for the outpouring of support since her death.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe Ademola family sincerely appreciates the overwhelming love, prayers, and messages of condolence from her colleagues, friends, and well-wishers across the world during this difficult time,\u201d the statement added.<\/p>\n<p>The family said details of the burial arrangements would be communicated later.<\/p>\n<p>The clarification follows earlier reports within the entertainment industry that the actress died at the age of 43 after suffering a heart attack at her residence before being taken to the hospital.<\/p>\n<p>Following the news of her death, tributes have continued to pour in from colleagues in the film industry.<\/p>\n<p>Actress Faithia Williams wrote on Instagram, \u201cHaaaa. This hit me so bad. Eniobanke.
