Leader of the International God\u2019s Way Church, Bishop Daniel Obinim, has disclosed that he has repeatedly advised his wife, gospel singer Florence Obinim, to stay away from social media, but she has refused to heed his advice.<\/p>\n Speaking to his congregation, Angel Obinim said he recently came across a video of a young man advising Florence to step away from social media. According to him, the advice was nothing new, as he had cautioned his wife about the same issue about three years ago without success.<\/p>\n Bishop Obinim speaks on divorce with Florence Obinim<\/p>\n \u201cI saw a video of a man advising my wife, Florence Obinim, to stay away from social media, and I said to myself that I told her the same thing about three years ago, but she refused to listen. Even when I, her husband, said it, she didn\u2019t adhere to it, so what makes you think she would listen to you?\u201d he said.<\/p>\n The Leader of the International God\u2019s Way Church also cautioned Ghanaians against commenting on his marriage, particularly claims that Florence is suffering in a bad marriage. He insisted such narratives are unfair and misleading.<\/p>\n Angel Obinim argued that considering what he has done for his wife, Florence Obinim, many Ghanaian women would be happy to be in such a marriage. <\/p>\n He explained that Florence Obinim was not a singer when he met her and that he personally sponsored her entry into the Gospel music industry.<\/p>\n According to him, he financed her first recording, took her to television stations with his own money, and secured distribution for her debut song, \u201cOsoro Ni Me Fia,\u201d even at a time when he himself was not fully established.<\/p>\n \u201cWhere did Ghanaians even know Florence from before now, yet you say it\u2019s her marriage that is making her suffer? I made Florence Obinim popular. When I met her, she was not a singer. I took her to the studio to record her first song and brought her on TV with my own money. I sponsored her myself when I had not established myself yet. <\/p>\n \u201cFlorence even won an award with the first song I sponsored for her, and people are saying she is in a bad marriage. How does this look like a bad marriage?
