{"id":451716,"date":"2025-12-18T08:52:54","date_gmt":"2025-12-18T08:52:54","guid":{"rendered":""},"modified":"2025-12-18T08:52:54","modified_gmt":"2025-12-18T08:52:54","slug":"teams-arrive-in-style-for-afcon","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.ghanamma.com\/2025\/12\/18\/teams-arrive-in-style-for-afcon\/","title":{"rendered":"Teams arrive in style for AFCON"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><\/p>\n<div style=\"-webkit-user-select: none; -webkit-touch-callout: none; -moz-user-select: none; -ms-user-select: none; user-select: none;\">\n<p id=\"article-123\">Various national teams have begun arriving in Morocco as of December 18, 2025, ahead of the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON).<\/p>\n<p>Some teams arrived in coordinated, branded outfits to showcase their fashion sense, while others opted for regular travel attire to mark their official arrival.<\/p>\n<p>The Comoros national team touched down in traditional white jalabia outfits paired with fulla hats, proudly displaying their cultural identity. <\/p>\n<p>Six players to watch at 2025 AFCON in Morocco<\/p>\n<p>Mohamed Salah\u2019s Egypt, however, arrived in their usual all\u2011black travel kit without any special attire.<\/p>\n<p>Zimbabwe made a bold fashion statement, arriving in suits featuring designs inspired by their national colours on the sleeves and pockets to highlight their heritage.<\/p>\n<p>Mali players were dressed in two\u2011piece kaftans paired with matching kimono sets, caps, and sneakers.<\/p>\n<p>The outfits featured a variety of fabrics, some in blue and white tones, others in coffee\u2011brown and cream shades.<\/p>\n<p>With the 2025 AFCON scheduled to take place in Morocco from December 21, 2025, to January 18, 2026, more teams are expected to arrive in the coming days.<\/p>\n<p>Twenty\u2011four teams will compete for continental glory, with Egypt, Morocco, Senegal, defending champions Ivory Coast and Nigeria aiming to make history.<\/p>\n<p>With four teams already in camp, 19 more are expected to arrive by December 21, 2025.<\/p>\n<p><b>Watch arrival of the teams below:<\/b><\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\" xml:lang=\"en\">Fashionably on time.
