It appears the founder and lead pastor of the Prophetic Hill Chapel, Prophet Nigel Gaisie, foresaw the military overtake that happened in Guinea-Bissau on Wednesday, November 26, 2025.<\/p>\n Speaking in an interview on Staf FM just about six days ago, Nigel Gaisie warned of an imminent coup d\u2019\u00e9tat in one of the countries in West Africa.<\/p>\n He, however, did not mention the exact country where the coup would take place.<\/p>\n \u201cFrom now to February, March, there is a coup d\u2019\u00e9tat attempt in West Africa\u2026 Ivory Coast is on the radar, and the West Africa zone is on the radar,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n The prophet warned the leaders of the West African subregion to listen to their citizens and also take prophecies seriously.<\/p>\n He recalled how the President of Guinea, Alpha Cond\u00e9, was removed from office in 2021 right after his prophecy.<\/p>\n \u201cThe President of Guinea, Conakry, he was here. The last time he came to Ghana, one of the girls who comes to my church from Guinea was a daughter of the ambassador, so I told her that she should tell the President that there will be an overthrow. And the President told the girl in French that he’s going to Conakry, he will come back and they will talk and deal with it. As soon as he went, he was overthrown.<\/p>\n \u201cProphecy may not like the person saying it. But even if it’s not from God and from the devil, there’s an element to learn something from. Granted, if you don’t believe in God and you believe in the devil, you got to take it seriously,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n Coup d’etat: Guinea-Bissau soldiers say they have taken power after reports of president’s arrest<\/p>\n He went on to urge the security officials of Ghana to protect President John Dramani Mahama.<\/p>\n \u201cThe security bosses should protect the President, for us, His Excellency, the President of the Republic of Ghana, and all the other people. There’s an agenda. The last thing will lead to a coup d\u2019\u00e9tat,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n About the Coup:<\/b><\/p>\n A group of military officers say they have seized control of Guinea-Bissau amid reports that the president, Umaro Sissoco Embal\u00f3, has been arrested.<\/p>\n Shortly after gunshots were heard in the capital, Bissau, government sources told the BBC that Embal\u00f3 had been detained.<\/p>\n Military officers then appeared on state TV, saying they had suspended the electoral process and would be in charge until further notice.<\/p>\n The West African nation had been awaiting the outcome of Sunday’s presidential election, in which the main opposition candidate had been disqualified from running.<\/p>\n The results were expected on Thursday.
