The tournament formed part of the team\u2019s build-up to the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers.<\/p>\n
Prior to the Unity Cup, Ghana had climbed one place from 77th to 76th in the global rankings, following back-to-back victories over Chad and Madagascar in the World Cup qualifying series.<\/p>\n
Ghana\u2019s performance in recent fixtures, though commendable, was not enough to warrant further improvement in their global standing. However, the team has moved ahead of Montenegro, who dropped three places in the latest rankings.<\/p>\n
