Arrest Over Alleged Money-Doubling Scam<\/b> <\/p>\n In October 2022, Nana Agradaa was arrested by the Ghana Police Service following allegations of a money-doubling scam. She was accused of deceiving members of her church by promising to double their money but failing to deliver. The police urged victims to report to assist in investigations. <\/p>\n 2. Controversial Conversion to Christianity<\/b> <\/p>\n After her arrest, Agradaa announced her conversion to Christianity, adopting the name Evangelist. <\/p>\n She claimed to have abandoned her ‘Sika Gari’ money-doubling practices and destroyed her idols. He later apologised, and NPP’s Owusu Bempah defended him, stating that the gift was a private matter. <\/p>\n Agradaa, however, remained apologetic, even using the incident to promote a \u2018special oil\u2019 and bragging that she would get a bagful of cash if she gets to meet the president. <\/p>\n 5.
